The patented product
Petralite and Petralume, what is it?
Potential game changing innovation in the Cultured Marble industry. It consists of various chemical formulas and processes which result in a much more convincing marble-like appearance to the various end products. Also, in tandem with our gel coat, Cultured Marble companies can enter the lucrative kitchen countertop market. Petralite basically consists of various polymer solutions which when added to the typical cultured marble process, creates a translucent and predictable marble aesthetic.
There are 300 cultured marble producers in the U.S. and many more around the world. Most of these companies would benefit from this technology. Some of these companies are quite large.
Our History
We started out trying to make picture frame molding that resembled marble. We even patented a scheme whereby we could solve the thermal expansion problem which would be a problem for picture frames. Since we had initial success with the marbelization of a polymer we decided to focus on countertops. Little did we know that there was much more to developing countertops than there was to make a marble like picture frame.
Things that can be sold as a purveyor of Petralite to the world:
The patented technology. Numerous solutions which generate different aesthetic results. Classes and/or videos which would not be complicated to people in the industry. Production and sales of enhanced cultural marble products, which we are going to refer to as Engineered Marble.

Superior Heat Resistance
Petralite and petralume materials can withstand up to 400 degrees. No more burning accidentally your prefect marble countertop.
Superior Hardness
Both materials have very hard surfaces and can’t be scratched easily, with that kind of confidence you’re material will last a lifetime
Stain Resistance
STAIN RESISTENCE ALSO IS EXCELLENT. NATURAL GRANITE AND MARBLE IN PARTICULAR ARE POROUS AND STAIN MORE EASILY.

Low HAP and Low Styrene in his material
Using our gel coat formula, the styrene problem is reduced by a large factor.
Possible Products
Basically, any surface, both horizontal and vertical such as furniture tops, restaurant tabletops, bar counters, bathroom vanity tops, kitchen counter tops and islands, architectural moldings, marble paneling for banks, Outdoor Kitchens and Countertops, because this material is not affected by ultraviolet light.
Market Value $$$$
If we are talking about the market value of the technology, this should increase over time. However, at present, it is limited to time and expenditures.
Set-up Costs
Between $25,000.00 plus, depending on how much volume is needed. Traditional engineered stone start-up is in the millions of dollars.
Market Analysis
Marshall W Simpson, in the Philippines, has been involved for many months doing market analysis. Virtually 100% of CEO’s shown this product are very excited about this and are eager to have it available as soon as possible.
Production Time
Once infrastructure and products are there, it would take a couple of weeks for production to be complete.
Factory Size
In the U.S. factory sizes range from 5000 sq. ft. To 300,000 sq. ft.
